Why coaching vs. traditional methods like therapy or psychology?Typically, therapists and counselors will focus on the “story” or your life. They’ll have you talk about your upbringing, your family dynamic, your traumas, failures, problems etc. As a result, you end up mentally reliving all the things that you would rather just forget. Although talking things out can be beneficial if you’ve never given a voice to your pain, it only helps you feel better for a while. I’ve always said there’s a reason people go to therapy for 30 years. Talking about the problems can never help you to authentically heal the problems. Why? Because the focus is always on the problems, not the solutions. Our coaching together focuses on solutions right now without the need to go back and delve into the memories of the past. We work on letting go of the beliefs and emotional anchors you’ve identified with as they show up to help you remember the true you. As a result, you no longer experience problems in the way you have. The key things that makes this work is your willingness to be completely honest with yourself and to be completely vulnerable with me.

How fast can I expect to see changes? You can expect to feel changes fairly quickly. Many times within a session or two. I cannot speak to how those changes will affect your life aside from greater levels of personal freedom.

What happens in a coaching session? My goal is always to help you change your perspectives and do the healing that will allow a deeper sense of peace and joy in your life. To do this, we look at what's showing up right now to determine where your perpective is not in alignment with truth. Once we've done that, we can get to work on using a number of different methods that allow you to let go and gain access to greater and greater levels of personal freedom.

Where are sessions held?Sessions are typically done over the phone or video chat. However, if you live in Utah, we may consider in person sessions as well.

How often do we meet?Every persons situation is unique and each individual wants different things from a coaching experience. For some, one or two sessions might provide them the additional clarity they need to move forward effectively. For others, we might be working together on a continual basis over a longer period of time. If we do end up working together for extended periods, my recommendation is weekly or bi-weekly coaching sessions. If you are wondering what the best approach for you is, feel free to schedule the free consultation and we can discuss your objectives.

Do you need a coach? No, you don't. We've all heard the saying that all of the answers are already inside you and I completely agree with that. Given enough time and self awareness, life will show you the answers to the questions you have. After all, that is the purpose of life. What coaching can do is dramatically shorten the timeline and save you from a lot of needless suffering. What might take twenty years and a lot of trial and error to figure out on your own could happen very quickly working with a coach.
